A few weeks ago I was up in Lincon and I desperately needed something to calm my skin down. I’d been trying out the Hawaiian Moon Aloe Cream (long story short, it’s terrible) and I didn’t have a face cream with me. I’d hoped that a few days away with just my regular cleanser would fix my skin, but it just got progressively drier. Normally I’m not fond of trying a new brands if I haven’t had time to research them and check they’re cruelty free. But I was desperate for something to calm my skin, so after twenty minutes on my phone checking that Natio were cruelty free, I bought it.
Basics: Cruelty Free • 75 ml • Contains extracts of Rose, Aloe Vera and Cucumber
I used to use the Lush Breath of Fresh Air toner spritz quite a lot, and actually I don’t know why I stopped using it because it’s a really lovely product. This spray nozzle is better than the Lush BOFA which does tend to shoot rather than spray. The Natio spray has a slight scent to it which I can’t place exactly, and it’s quite nice for when you’re a little hot and bothered and you want to cool down.
It’s slightly moisturising, slightly toning and mildly refreshing, but nothing that’s going to make me want to re-purchase it. I would say it’s a distinctly average product. Mind you, now that I’ve discovered another cruelty free company, I might just start sampling a few more of their products. I did see that they have a perfume, so I think once I use up a bit more of my perfume collection I’ll have to give it a try.
