I don’t think I would ever have gone for the smell of this eau de toilette if it hadn’t reminded me of the holiday I took to the Virgin Islands a year or two ago. It’s got what I can only really describe as a an intense dusty floral smell, a little overpowering for an eau de toilette but great if you don’t want to be re-applying a dozen times during the day.
Absolutely love, love the packaging for this bottle!
What drew me to it at first was the packaging. Put a balloon pump on a perfume bottle and I’m all over that! Adore retro bottles. The smell of this makes me think old hollywood on a caribbean beach and a screwdriver (the drink) in your hand, but that could just be nostalgia talking.
After I’ve finished this one…ok I’m lying, probably the next time I pass a Zara shop I’m going to have a sniff around the rest of their eau de toilette’s. I saw one in a peachy orange bottle which looked like it would be a delightfully zesty floral smell…
