You know what I’d really like to know? I want to know who on earth looks up at a cluster of stars and thinks “you know what that looks like? A goat. A fish goat”. I’m generally quite proud of my imagination, but whoever came up with that one sure did take the grand prize for imagination.
I’ll have a tutorial for the Octopus horns on my second channel next week
I didn’t want to have to make a tail for this look so I thought I’d try and fish-ise the horns instead and make them look a little more octupi than goat, tentacle horns aren’t something I’ve done yet, so I really wanted to give it a shot and I have to say I’m really happy with how they turned out!
Small warning, while most of this look is just about blending browns and greens the scales are going to take a long, long time. I bought these beautiful hexagonal sequins at IMATS London about two years ago in preparation for look like this. At the time I wanted to do a look where most of the face would be covered by these (and hand applied) but now that I’ve done this look I think I’ll scrap that idea. It took long enough to just do these little patches. I think I’d start crying at the idea of covering the whole face in them.
So…the next Zodiac will be my second to last look for the Zodiac series. Just in time for Halloween (and the new disgusting videos I have planned for it) and then to plan my next makeup series! I’m thinking chess, the four seasons or the elements. Not quite sure yet.
