Little Miss Muffet

This weeks video, as I’m sure you noticed, is a day late as it’s part of a collaboration with the amazingly talented Ana Arthur, BeautifulYouTV, iwanted2c1video and Pinkstylist.

Little Miss muffet…got bit by an arachnid. She woke up all webed, new eyes on her head… and a serious case of the munchies

The idea was simple, based on an episode from Face Off, take a nursery rhyme and mix/put a dark twist on it. Mine was Miss Muffet, and she got bitten by a spider and started morphing into one.

The actual eyeballs are really simple to make. Just take some Fimo light air dry clay (**) or any light-weight clay, role them into a ball, flattening one side so it sits on your skin. Paint the top with black nail varnish once it’s dried, and then just stick it to your face using lash glue!

For the right eye I wanted it to look like the body was still morphing into a spider, so only one eye had currently changed

Of course for this one you don’t even need to use makeup, you could even use face paint if you wanted, or different coloured foundations too.

So there you have it! A seriously easy look for halloween and be sure to check out everyone’s video (link at the end of the video) even if you don’t like mine you should have a nice selection of looks to choose from with this collaboration :)

Enjoy! :D

Hello Klaire! I’ve been following you forever on youtube and I’ve never sent you a comment or anything but I’d like to say that I think you are unbelievably talented and far beyond creative. You have original visions and ideas that you are able to bring to life with your intuitive artistic abilities.

I’m from Canada so it’d probably never happen…but honestly I would absolutely love to meet you and work with you (I’m a hair stylist, and I love non-conventional artistic shoots). Although your youtube channel is strictly art, I feel as if your mind and heart are in the right place and you are a beautiful person as well.

Please continue to free your inner soul through your art, it is such an inspiration, and reminds me that there is always something new and different out there you use just have to look inside (essentially what I’m trying to say is, when I read magazines or go shopping or read blogs, everything is just mimicking a certain trend, but seeing you create something new reminds me it is possible to not be influenced by trends and create something beautiful)

I love your work Klaire, I wish your the best of luck and happiness in whatever your future entails :)

Hi Klaire! Great tutorial! You’ve done an awesome job. Speaking of spiders, this reminds me of two movies I’ve seen before. 1: Arachnophobia and 2: Eight legged freaks. Sounds weird and scary, doesn’t it? I don’t mean to sound rude or anything.(Forgive me if I am.) I really like your videos. I watch them whenever I am feeling down. Tia :)
