You know those shoes that you can get for a night out which fit in your bag for when your feet are killing you and just HAVE to take your high heels off? Well I’d been looking around for a pair of role-up flats flat for a while now, and I eventually settled for a pair of traditional ballet shoes.
Rather than get a pair of glorified ballet shoes shoes I thought I’d just get plain ballet shoes
But I couldn’t find any that didn’t cost as much as a regular pair of flats (which quite frankly if I’m going to pay that price I’d rather have a proper pair ). I figured that most of them were just glorified ballet flats, so I just found a good pair of leather ballet shoes and they were perfect!
One drawback to using ballet shoes is that you will have to wear them for a bit before they “mould” to the shape of your feet. If you have very wide feet like me you will need to sew on the strap provided across it or it just slips off your feet, especially if you don’t have much of an arch to your ankle.
But aside from that I love them! After just wearing them around the house for a while they’ve moulded to the shape of my feet, and been a life saver on quite a few nights out.
