One good thing about my hair when it was short is I didn’t get friz, insane curl yes, but friz no.
Now that my hair is longer it tends to get really, really frizzy, and as I want to donate it again as soon as it’s long enough I’m trying to keep it in good condition.
Even though the ends (and middle) of my hair is dry, my roots get oily really quickly which is why I don’t like conditioners which are built into shampoos, so I thought I’d give this one a shot.

My sister absolutely adores this products and swears by it, she has much coarser hair with very tight curls so I was quite interested to see how this would work out for me.
The smell of this (like most Lush stuff) is quite strong, a predominant smell of orange-blossom and jasmine with hints of coconut. You will either love it or hate it, if you are someone who get’s overpowered by strong smells this probably isn’t the product for you. People will think you’re wearing perfume, that’s how strong it is!Â
This product also claims to prevent split ends and that (if applied regularly after washing your hair and after swimming) it certainly does.
Bellow is a picture of my hair after I came back from holiday, and considering the amount of abuse I put it though (constant sun exposure + salt water) not to mention I haven’t trimmed it in over 3-4 months, it really did uphold it’s claim.
When I first bought this pot the price was a bit of a kick in the gut, but now that I’ve used it for a a month or two (these photos are after using it for 2 months) I can tell you that a little goes a long, loooong way!
Tip: If you can, get a sample size of this product before you buy. This is a love or hate product.
I have reasonably thick wavy hair and I just need a blob the size of a 50p to properly cover the ends of my hair. If you have very fine hair I wouldn’t recommend this product, I think you would find it far too heavy.
This product can be applied to dry or wet hair, my favorite method is applying it to wet hair right after I have washed it.
It’s described as a hair moisturiser but it’s has a slight styling-cream property, I love using this right before I put my hair in curlers to keep my hair moisturized and provide a bit of hold for when I take my hair out.
You can get this product at a local Lush store or online here.

Wow cool! can’t wait to try this out myself!
It’s great…….
I like it very much…………
That is so nice of you that you donate hair! I wish I’d had a courage to do that as well…
